Euro Micro Cup in the Usma Lake
In some countries sailing season is already opened, in some - it was never closed, but in Latvia it is about to open in the beginning of May. And as most probably you are now planning your own sailing season it is great honor for us to share this information and invite you to participate in one of Euro Micro Cup competitions from June 1st to 3rd in the Usma Lake.
Some of you may keep warm memories about joyful and challenging HansaWorld 35th Micro Cup 2011 and we would like to encourage to come also those who have never been in Usma Yacht Club. This year Euro Micro Cup is organized together with Latvian Open Championship for Micro Class Yachts. Besides traditional awarding in general ranking, Racing and Cruiser divisions, there will be separate awarding in group of yachts build before the year 2000. Therefor we would like specially invite also sailors of earlier build yachts.
Registration Office at Usma Yacht Club will be opened on Friday, June 1, 2012 from 10:00 to 12:00, but to be ready by that time we encourage you to arrive in the previous evening or early enough in the morning to be prepared. It is possible to stay in tent in Usma Yacht Club territory but there are also several good guest houses and camping facilities located around the Usma Lake.
